Harrow Open Studios

In 2021 I became a member of the Harrow Open Studios.  Harrow Open Studios is a platform for local artists in Harrow and the surrounding areas to showcase, exhibit and sell affordable art to the public.  It is a group of over 50 talented artists who work in a wide variety of media including photography & book art, sculpture & wood turning, printing making, textiles, glass, drawing & illustration, mixed media, painting, jewellery and ceramics.

What does it mean by Open Studios?

An assemblage of artists come together to open their individual studios or homes to the public over the same weekends.  This enables visitors to see a diverse range of art, in its creative environment, and to meet the artists who will be happy to explain to you how they work.  Many will demonstrate and allow you to ‘have a go’.  Much of the work on display is for sale and often it is also possible to commission a bespoke piece.

This event is perfect whether or not you are curious about what is being created in your street, looking for a piece of art for your home or if you just want to know more about the creative process.  Entry is free.
